SAFC Hitech to Build Facility in Taiwan

SAFC Hitech, a division of Sigma-Aldrich, says it plans to build a new facility at Kaohsiung, Taiwan for transfilling, technical service and production of light-emitting diode (LED) and silicon semiconductor precursors. The new facility is expected to become operational by late 2011, and it will extend the company’s ability to serve the Asian market, SAFC Hitech says.
