Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials Increases Investment in Taiwan

Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials says its chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) Technologies business will invest to expand the production capacity of its Asia-Pacific pad manufacturing facility at Hsinchu, Taiwan. The move aims to meet the growing demand for CMP pads from semiconductor manufacturers in Asia, Rohm and Haas says. Details of the investment and expansion were not disclosed.
