Lanxess and TSRC to Form Nitrile Rubber JV in China

Lanxess says it will form a 50-50 joint venture with TSRC Corp. (Taipei) to build a plant at Nantong, China that will produce nitrile rubber (NBR). The two companies will jointly invest a total of $50 million to build the plant, which will have an initial capacity of 30,000 m.t./year and will serve the rapidly growing Chinese market.
