The company will expand polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) manufacturing capacity used in molding applications at Shanghai, and Taichung, Taiwan. Evonik also plans to expand its methacrylic acid capacity in Shanghai at its ‘MATCH’ supercomplex, which began operating just five months ago. Financial terms were not disclosed.
