(Taipei) has embarked on a program to reinforce its position as a leading producer of olefins and aromatics in Taiwan. The company plans to upgrade one of its production sites via a major scrap-and-build project, and expand and diversify its operations further by partnering with six other Taiwanese companies in a grassroots joint venture complex.
