BASF Opens CMP Plant in Taiwan

BASF says that by the end of September, it will start a new production plant for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) products at its KuanYin site in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The plant will produce BASF’s proprietary CMP slurries for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
