Association Calls on Taiwan Government to Speed Formosa Renovation, Industry to Prioritize Domestic Supplies

The Petrochemical Industry Association of Taiwan has called on the government to help expedite the renovation of Formosa Plastics’ “aging and accident-plagued petrochemical plants”. Formosa was ordered to suspend operations pending safety inspections following a string of fires at its complex at Mailiao, Taiwan.
