Economies, Industry Remain Healthy The economies of East Asian countries, excluding China and Japan, continue to perform well. However, growth is expected to slip slightly in 2007, economists say. This is due mainly to an anticipated decrease in China’s growth as the country’s government seeks to prevent the economy from overheating.
