Idemitsu Kosan and Formosa Petchem to Form Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin JV in Taiwan

Idemitsu Kosan and Formosa Petrochemical Corp. (Mailiao, Taiwan), part of the Formosa Plastics Group (Taipei), say they have agreed to establish a joint-venture company to manufacture and sell hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin. The planned jv will be owned equally by Idemitsu Kosan and Formosa Petrochemical and is expected to be established in the second half of the current fiscal year ending March 31, 2013.
