Regions :: North Asia :: Korea Wacker to Expand Dispersions Capacity in Korea1:15 PM MDT | September 24, 2012 | Ian Young Wacker-Chemie says it will almost doubled production capacity for vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer dispersions at Ulsan, Korea. The company plans to build a 40,000-m.t./year VAE dispersions plant at Ulsan, for startup in January 2013. The project, estimated to cost about €10 ($12.9 million) million, will make the enlarged Ulsan complex one of the biggest of its kind in Korea, Wacker says.
