Songwon Outlines Plans in Plastics Stabilizer Market

Songwon Industrial (Seoul) says it is planning to become a stronger player in the plastics stabilizer market, and plans to triple sales to about $300 million/year by 2010. Achieving that would put the company in the number two slot behind Ciba Specialty Chemicals, whose sales in this business reach some $800 million-$900 million/year, says Maurizio Butti, president and CEO of the recently established subsidiary Songwon International (Frauenfeld, Switzerland).
