Regions :: North Asia :: Korea Solvay Signs MoU with Leading Korean University as Part of Big Asian Push2:30 PM MDT | June 9, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz in Seoul Solvay today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the EWHA women’s university based in Seoul to create a Research, Development and Technology (RD&T) center on the university campus. Solvay will invest €13 million in the center, which will focus on high-growth markets, such as electronics, lithium-ion batteries and photovoltaic cells, for which Solvay produces high value-added specialty polymers and chemicals.
