SK Global Chemical reports a slight increase in operating profits

SK Global Chemical, the petrochemical business of SK Innovation (Seoul), formerly SK Energy, reports a 2.7% rise in operating profits for the fourth quarter of 2013 compared with the year-ago quarter, to 159.9 billion South Korean won ($148 million). Fourth-quarter sales increased 5%, to won2.99 trillion. SK Global Chemical’s overall petrochemical product sales volumes increased to 1.96 million m.t. in the fourth quarter of 2013 from 1.82 million m.t. in the year-ago quarter.
