Kumho Petrochemical to Invest About $1 Billion at Yeosu Complex

Kumho Petrochemical (Seoul) plans to spend won880 billion ($837 million) by 2014 to expand its Yeosu, Korea manufacturing complex to meet growing demand for its products, mainly used in the automotive and consumer electronics sectors. The plans form part of the company’s vision to raise sales to won20 trillion by 2020 and be a global leader in several of its fields, including synthetic rubbers.
