Korea's SKC Buys Stake in Evonik Hydrogen Peroxide Plant

SKC (Seoul) has agreed to acquire a 45% stake in Evonik Degussa Peroxide Korea, a subsidiary of Evonik Degussa. Evonik Degussa Peroxide Korea is the biggest manufacturer of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in Korea, and it has operated a plant at Ulsan since 2006. Evonik Degussa, an Evonik Industries subsidiary, will continue to hold the remaining 55% of Evonik Degussa Peroxide Korea.
