Korean Petchem Companies to Invest $12.8 Billion by 2012

The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE; Gwacheon, South Korea) says that petrochemical companies in South Korea will invest a total of about won14.4 trillion ($12.8 billion) between 2010 and 2012 on various projects. The petchem firms will invest a total of won4.7 trillion this year, won5.9 trillion in 2011, and won3.8 trillion in 2012, MKE says.
