Hanwha Firms up Polysilicon Project

Hanwha Chemical (Seoul) has firmed up its previously reported plans to build a polysilicon plant in Korea. The plant will be built at Yeosu and it is due for completion by July 2013, Hanwha said in a recent regulatory filing. The company also confirmed earlier reports that the plant would cost just over won1 trillion and have a capacity of 10,000 m.t./year.
