BASF to set up electronic materials R&D center in Korea

BASF signed a letter of intent at a ceremony in Brussels today to set up a new Electronics Materials R&D Center Asia/Pacific in partnership with Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) at Suwon, Korea. The ceremony was attended by Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Yoon Sang-jick. The facility, to be located within the SKKU campus some 30 km from Seoul, will serve as an integrated hub for electronic materials research in the region.
