OCI swings to loss

OCI (Seoul), formerly DC Chemical, recorded a net loss of 3.9 billion South Korean won ($3.5 million) in the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2012, compared with a net profit of won65.2 billion in the year-ago period. Sales decreased 19.8%, to won703.6 billion. The company recorded an operating loss of won62.2 billion compared with an operating profit of won87.3 billion in the year-ago period.
