Umicore Shokubai opens automotive catalyst technical R&D center in Japan

Nippon Shokubai (Osaka) says that its Umicore Shokubai Japan (Tokyo) affiliate has opened a previously announced new automotive catalyst technical R&D center at Tokoname, Japan. Umicore Shokubai Japan was established last year and is involved in the manufacture, R&D, and sale of automotive catalysts. The company is wholly owned by Umicore Shokubai, which is owned 60% by Umicore and 40% by Nippon Shokubai. Umicore Shokubai Japan sells automotive catalyst to Japanese automotive companies, and its manufacturing and R&D center is located at Himeji, Japan...
