(Tokyo), Lotte Chemical (Seoul), and its wholly owned Lotte Chemical Titan (Kuala Lumpur) subsidiary have established a joint venture at Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, to manufacture and market butadiene rubber (BR) in order to respond to growing demand for BR in Asia. The jv is called Malaysian Synthetic Rubber. Lotte Chemical and Ube each have a 40% stake, and Lotte Chemical Titan and Mitsubishi each have a 10% stake, in the jv.
