Ube Industries takes over running of Ube Ammonia Industry

Ube Industries says it will take over the running of plants belonging to Ube Ammonia Industry, a joint venture in which Ube Industries has a 50.6% stake, Central Glass 22.5%, Kyowa Hakko Bio 16.9%, and Seibu Oil Co. 10%. Ube Industries will begin running the operations as of 1 October 2013. The service agreement includes Ube Industries overseeing all plant operations including the manufacturing of ammonia and other raw materials.
