Ube Does Not Plan to Increase Production of Nylon-12

Ube Industries, the only producer of nylon-12 in the Asia/Pacific region, tells CW that it does not intend to increase its production of nylon-12, despite a shortage in the global market following the explosion and fire that struck Evonik Industries’ cyclododecatriene (CDT) plant at Marl, Germany on March 31.
