Toray to Build Carbon Fiber Plant in Korea

Toray Industries says its Toray Advanced Materials Korea (TAK; Seoul) subsidiary will build a plant for the production of carbon fiber at TAK’s manufacturing site at Gumi, Korea. The plant, which will involve an investment of won63 billion ($57 million), will have a production capacity of 2,200 m.t./year.
