Regions :: North Asia :: Japan Toray Plant in Ayutthaya, Thailand Starts Operating at Full Capacity4:34 AM MDT | June 11, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Toray Industries say that the Ayutthaya, Thailand plant of the company’s Thai Toray Synthetics (TTS; Bangkok) subsidiary, which had stopped operating in October 2011 as a result of the floods, has started operating at full capacity starting May 30, 2012. The plant started operating partly since March 2012. The Ayutthaya plant produces nylon yarns for industrial use and polyester yarn for apparels.
