Toppan Printing to build barrier films plant in US

Japan’s Toppan Printing (Tokyo) has announced plans to build a new transparent barrier films production facility in the US state of Georgia. The plant, which will be Toppan’s first transparent barrier films site outside Japan, is expected to open in March 2016. The 10,555 square-meter facility will involve an investment of about $100 million. Exact capacity figures have not been disclosed.
