Tokuyama Reports Fall in Profits and Sales

Tokuyama (Tokyo) reported a 4.1% fall in net profits for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012, compared with the previous fiscal year, to ¥9.3 billion ($116.5 million). Sales decreased 2.5%, to ¥282.3 billion. Full-year sales at Tokuyama’s chemicals segment increased 7.7%, to ¥85.2 billion.
