Some Asahi Kasei Plants to Restart this Month

Asahi Kasei says that some of the manufacturing plants of its affiliates, which were offline since the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11, will restart operations later this month, while some may take longer to restart. Product inventory, buildings, and manufacturing equipment were partially damaged at Asahi Kasei Construction Materials’ plant at Sakai in Ibaraki prefecture.
