R&H and SKC to Form Electronics Films JV

Rohm and Haas (R&H) says it plans to form a joint venture with SKC (Seoul) to develop, manufacture, and market advanced optical and functional films for the flat-panel display industry. The jv will also make specialty display films and dispersions for liquid crystal and plasma displays. The jv will be formed through the spin-out of SKC’s Display Technologies (Seoul) unit.
