Nippon Shokubai to raise capacity for specialty acrylic resin

Nippon Shokubai announced today that it plans to majorly expand capacity for its Acryviewa optical acrylic resin to meet growing demand. The company plans to add 3,000 m.t./year capacity at its Himeji, Japan, manufacturing complex. The expansion will bring Nippon Shokubai’s total capacity for this specialty acrylic resin to 9,000 m.t./year.
