Regions :: North Asia :: Japan Nippon Shokubai restarts more facilities at Himeji site10:38 AM MST | January 18, 2013 | Deepti Ramesh Nippon Shokubai says that it has received approval from authorities to restart operations at a few more facilities in the company’s manufacturing complex at Himeji, Japan, but they do not include any production facilities. Nippon Shokubai was ordered to suspend operations at all the production facilities at its Himeji complex following the explosion and fire at the site on 29 September 2012. The accident resulted in the death of one firefighter, as well as several serious injuries. The company was given permission, separately in December and November 2012...
