The blast killed one firefighter, and seriously injured two other firefighters and three Nippon Shokubai workers, the company says. Nippon Shokubai president Masanori Ikeda will forego 30% of his salary, and senior managing executive officers Yasuhito Nishii and Yosuke Ogata will sacrifice 20% of their salaries.
