More Japanese Chemical Plants Restart

Several key chemical plants have restarted production in Japan in recent weeks. Japan’s output of chemicals fell sharply following the earthquake and tsunami that struck the northeast of the country on March 11. Mitsubishi Chemical restarted production at the company’s No. 2 naphtha cracker at Kashima on May 20.
