Mitsui’s Kashima Plant Remains Offline

Mitsui Chemicals says that its plant at Kashima in Ibaraki prefecture continues to be offline following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck the northeast of the country on March 11. Operations will resume after assessment of damage, Mitsui says. Meanwhile, operation of all the plants in the company’s facility at Mobara in Chiba prefecture has resumed.
