Mitsui to Build Production Capacity for Spunbonded Fabrics in China

Mitsui Chemicals says it will form a new company for the production and sale of spunbonded fabrics at Tianjin, China, in response to increased demand resulting from a growing disposable diapers market in China. The new company, tentatively dubbed Tianjin Mitsui Chemicals Nonwovens, will be established in December 2011, and it will produce 15,000 m.t./year of spunbonded fabrics.
