Mitsui Restarts Kashima Plant

Mitsui Chemicals says that its manufacturing site at Kashima in Ibaraki Prefecture has restarted production on June 23. Operations at the site were suspended following the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11. Regular maintenance, which followed the repair work at some facilities in the Kashima site, was completed on schedule, the company says. All Mitsui group facilities are now operating normally.
