Mitsui Acquires Swiss Firm

Mitsui Chemicals says it entered into a share purchase and transfer agreement with the shareholders of Acomon (Zug, Switzerland), a manufacturer and distributor of monomers for optical lenses on March 31, 2011, to acquire all shares of Acomon. The shareholders of Acomon include private equity firm Auctus Capital Partners (Munich, Germany), the Acomon management team, and other co-investors.
