Mitsubishi to Expand Production of Performance Polymers in China and U.S.

Mitsubishi Chemical says it will expand production of olefin thermoplastic elastomer and adhesive polymers in China and U.S. to further accelerate global expansion of the performance polymers business. Demand for these performance polymers is increasing in both China and North America, Mitsubishi says. In response to this growing demand, Mitsubishi will expand the facilities at Suzhou, China and at Greer, SC, with a total investment of about ¥700 million ($9 million).
