The cracker, which was taken offline due to damage caused by the earthquake and tsunami that struck the northeast of Japan on March 11, has completed a maintenance turnaround. The production facilities for derivatives have also completed a scheduled maintenance and are restarting operations, the company says. Mitsubishi’s 453,000-m.t./year No. 2 naphtha cracker at Kashima, which was also offline following the earthquake and tsunami, restarted...
