Mitsubishi Rayon to double production capacity at carbon fiber plant in California

Mitsubishi Rayon says that its subsidiary Mitsubishi Rayon Carbon Fiber and Composites (Irvine, CA) will expand carbon fiber production capacity at its manufacturing site at Sacramento. Capacity there will increase from 2,000 m.t./year to 4,000 m.t./year. The expansion is expected to be completed by mid-2016.
