Mitsubishi Rayon develops high-performance intermediate modulus carbon fiber

Mitsubishi Rayon says that it has developed a high-performance intermediate modulus (IM) carbon fiber, Pyrofil MR70, which largely exceeds the performance of conventional IM carbon fibers. Pyrofil MR70 is an innovative IM carbon fiber which exceeds MR60H, Mitsubishi Rayon’s conventional IM fiber, by about 20% in strength and by about 10% in modulus, Mitsubishi Rayon says.
