Mitsubishi Rayon, SK Chemicals form alliance for carbon fiber prepreg business

Mitsubishi Rayon says it has formed a business alliance with SK Chemicals (Songnam, Korea) in order to develop and expand the carbon fiber prepreg business in Asian countries. The alliance aims to create synergy in manufacturing and the development of carbon fiber and composite materials. Mitsubishi Rayon and SK have signed a long-term supply agreement for carbon fibers, according to which Mitsubishi Rayon will supply carbon fibers to SK.
