Mitsubishi Gas Chemical’s Kashima Plant Starts Operating at Full Capacity

Mitsubishi Gas Chemical (MGC) says it has started production of hydrogen peroxide and polycarbonates at full capacity at its Kashima plant in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, beginning June 22. The Kashima plant was shut down following the earthquake and tsunami that struck the northeast of Japan on March 11. The plant started partial production in late April as it obtained some supplies of raw materials and utilities at the Kashima industrial complex.
