Mitsubishi Chemical and JNC to transfer PP compound businesses to Japan Polypropylene

Mitsubishi Chemical; its wholly owned Japan Polychem Corp. (JPC; Tokyo) subsidiary; and JNC (Tokyo), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chisso (Tokyo), have decided to transfer the polypropylene (PP) compound businesses held by each company and the Funcster long glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin business held by JNC, to Japan Polypropylene Corp. (Tokyo), Mitsubishi says. Japan Polypropylene is a PP joint venture between JPC and JNC Petrochemical (Tokyo), a wholly owned subsidiary of JNC.
