Kuraray Restarts Kashima Plant

Kuraray says its Kashima site in Ibaraki Prefecture has restarted normal production, and that shipment of all products manufactured at the plant are scheduled to restart today. The Kashima plant, which was offline following the earthquake and tsunami that struck the northeast of Japan on March 11, did not sustain any major damage in the disaster and had restarted partial production from mid April.
