Regions :: North Asia :: Japan Kaneka Builds Polyimide Film Plant in Malaysia5:43 AM MDT | April 19, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Kaneka (Osaka, Japan) says it has established a new company called Kaneka Apical Malaysia in February 2012, to expand the company’s polyimide film business and has begun constructing a new plant in the premises of Kaneka Malaysia (Kuantan). The new plant will mainly produce Apical NPI2, a major grade of polyimide film, and will begin operations in October 2013 with a production capacity of about 600 m.t./year.
