India Slaps Dumping Duties on R-134a Refrigerant Gas from China and Japan

India has imposed antidumping duties of up to $1.41/kg on imports of the fluorinated refrigerant gas R-134a to protect domestic players from low-priced imports from China and Japan. The Department of Revenue (New Delhi) says that the restrictive duty on the import of R-134a will be imposed for a period of five years. The duty will range from $0.69/kg to $1.41/kg, the department says.
