(Tokyo) The jvs, GE Plastics Japan (GEPJ; Ichihara) and GEM PC (Ichihara), produce polycarbonate (PC). Gladden: Simplifying PC assets. GE Plastics will buy out Mitsui’s and Nagase’s stakes in GEPJ, and will make it a wholly owned GE Plastics subsidiary. That jv’s Ichihara plant, located on Mitsui’s property, will be closed.
