DuPont and Kuraray Plants in Japan Remain Closed

DuPont says that its research and manufacturing facility at Utsunomiya, Japan has incurred some damage as a result of the powerful earthquake and tsunami that struck northeastern Japan on March 11. The site will remain closed at least until damage assessments are completed, DuPont says. The remaining DuPont sites in Japan are operating, and assessments for the company’s 15 joint ventures in Japan are currently under way, DuPont says.
