Daiichi Sankyo integrates pharma ingredient manufacturing plants at Odawara

Pharmaceutical company Daiichi Sankyo (Tokyo) says it completed the previously announced integration of the manufacturing plants of its Daiichi Sankyo Propharma (DSPP; Tokyo) and Daiichi Sankyo Chemical Pharma (DSCP; Hiratsuka, Japan) subsidiaries at Odawara, Japan, on 1 April. The DSPP Odawara plant, which started operating in 1979, produces active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and employs about 140 people. The DSCP Odawara plant became operational in 1963.
